Matter, Mind, Dialogue

The interactive installation »Matter, Mind, Dialogue« addressed the relationship between matter and mind and explored the effects our physical environment and sensory perception have on our thinking. Visitors were invited to consciously perceive matter in the form of a collection of sensory objects, to reflect on the associations they triggered and to create embodied metaphors. The aim of the installation was to stimulate associative thinking through material things and to open up space for the emergence of immaterial things such as emotions, values, ideas and dialogues.

Die interaktive Installation »Matter, Mind, Dialogue« befasste sich mit der Beziehung zwischen Materie und Geist und untersuchte welche Wirkung unsere physische Umgebung und sensorische Wahrnehmung auf unser Denken hat. Besucher waren eingeladen Materie in Form einer Sammlung von Sinnesobjekten bewusst wahrzunehmen, über ihre dadurch ausgelösten Assoziationen nachzudenken und verkörperte Metaphern zu schaffen. Ziel der Installation war es, assoziatives Denken durch materielle Dinge anzuregen und Raum für die Entstehung immaterieller Dinge wie Emotionen, Bedeutung, Werte, Ideen und Dialoge zu öffnen.
